The state of Colorado has implemented changes under CCR 2505-10, Section 8.7000,"billing for time spent by personal care providers performing tasks that are not allowed according to regulations - including but not limited to companionship, financial management, transporting of members, skilled personal care...... is now considered an improper billing practice. As a result, caregivers will no longer be permitted to transport clients in any capacity , effective immediately at our agency. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in your daily routine.
